How do I sign up?

It’s easy! Just Fill out the Member Agreement form and mail it back to us.

Is the produce organic?

We do use organic practices, but the farm is not certified organic. This means not using any synthetic sprays like pesticides or herbicides. Weed control is practiced with hand tools, and pest control through the use of floating row fabrics, among other techniques.

How much does the CSA cost?

A full share of 8-14 items for 20 weeks is $600. A full share will feed 2 adults and 2 children, or a veggie loving couple.

A half share of 8-14 items biweekly for 10 weeks is $340. A small share will feed 1 to 2 people.

This price includes the delivery charge to a pick up site near you.

Do you deliver to my house?

No, delivery depots will be set up depending on member locations in order to make transportation costs for the farm affordable.

Our drop off sites are in Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Milwaukee’s East Side and Third Ward, Wauwatosa, West Bend, Cedarburg, and on the farm in Fredonia. Additional sites can be added if 4 or more people from a neighborhood sign up. Actual addresses can be found in the Membership Agreement.

That sounds like a lot of money. I’m not sure if I can afford a membership.

Paying for all your produce at one time does seem expensive, but if you think about how much of your budget your family spends on groceries over the season, it is actually a bargain. Prices were set based on the market value of produce, then given a more than 10% discount off that price. Per week for a full share, you will be paying less than $30 for a bounty of the freshest veggies not to mention the fact that they are organic. Think about that the next time you purchase your groceries.

How do I pay?

We prefer check, but will also accept credit cards. An installation payment plan can be set up.

What if I can’t pick up one week?

When joining a CSA, you are making a season long commitment to the farmer, and she is making a commitment to you. There are no cancellations. Ask a friend or neighbor pick up your share for you if you are unable to.

What if I don’t know how to use/store/prepare an item?

The weekly newsletter will offer tips on this.

What do I do with my box?

To keep costs low, we reuse the boxes each week. Please leave them at the site and bring your own bag to pack your share into. Please fold the box nicely so it can be used again.

I love my Wild Ridge Farm veggies! Where can I get more?
